Hey, Zoners! The long ‘Colbert Report’ break is almost over. Are you looking forward to Monday night’s show as much as I am? Just a few more days to go…
Tonight, we are highlighting memorable Indecision 2008 segments rather than a specific ‘Colbert Report’ episode. Some the Completists’ favorite videos are embedded below, but we’d love to hear from y’all. What are your favorite Indecision 2008 moments? Please feel to share your thoughts in the comments.
Videos after the cut.
Hee! Stephen unbuttoning his pants is always good for a laugh and a squeal, and I love Jon announcing that Obama won the election, because you can tell he’s been waiting a long time to be able to say that. My other favorite is the Word: I Endorse Barack Obama, ’cause it’s so in character.

Favorite moments (in random order):
1. Appearances of Hillary Clinton (technical difficulties), John Edwards (Ed Word: Valued Voter), and Barack Obama (distractions On Notice) in a single episode and the copycat drama that occurred after.
2. Stephen asking “Who the ____ is Sarah Palin?? The sexy librarian?”
3. Stephen endorsing Barack Obama.
4. Stephen’s distractions, his Hawaiian rant/monologue, and when Jon Stewart announced that Barack Obama is the 44th President of the US.
5. Stephen wishing the President-elect well in his future battle with the spider in the White House.
6. Stephen asking for a Cabinet position.
There are so many classic moments in Indecision 2008 that it’s hard to narrow them down. I’m glad I was able to catch a good number of videos/episodes. For some reason I currently can’t watch the videos you embedded here in the site as well as in the official Daily Show/Colbert Nation/Indecision 2008 sites [I'm from the Philippines, and I haven't experienced viewing problems until now. :(].

I love that Shakespeare segment — bestill my heart, he quotes Shakespeare too. The Word: I Endorse Barack Obama was awesome. I also loved all the McCain Green Screen Challenge stuff.
I thought Hillary was a little stiff when she came on, but John Edwards doing “EdWords” was funny, and I loved Barack Obama putting Distractions on notice.

Ah, the unbottoning of pants, the beautiful wipe of the tear… What great ways to remember the year.
