I’ve always hated having Comcast, but I’d be furious if I had Time Warner. It’s ridiculous that these jerks can’t come up with a deal. Pulling Comedy Central, MTV, Nickelodeon, etc. doesn’t do any good for anyone, as almost everyone else has said. TW loses subscribers and Viacom loses viewers. I hope they don’t pull the shows on the internet for TW online subscribers. Why is it that the heads of almost every major company are arrogant jerks?

About 5 hours until the blackout and I can’t be angrier!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! South Park is the last show before the blackout and there is a marathon on of it. Last chance to see this show for possibly a while. Eventually the greedy ceo’s of viacom and twc will realize they are losing money and when they can’t afford to buy their 20th ferrari they will work out a deal.

I tried calling the Viacom number. After waiting on hold for at least 20 minutes I finally got a human. I told her that I wanted to complain about the black out of Viacom stations on Time Warner. She literally heard those words and flipped a switch. Suddenly I was listening to a canned statement about how Time Warner was horrible. This was not what I wanted. I left a message at the end, but doubt anyone will listen.

I am trying to get the word out to people on Twitter (@TheAngelForever). I am asking people who are upset with this fiasco to use #GreedyViacom in their Tweets so everyone can see the information together.

I know that Time Warner is no angel, but this is unreal and unfair during hard economic times.

Thanks WhyweWatch, I’m a supporter of their efforts on the net neutrality issue. Unfettered media is a huge civil right and necessary to our republic, it’s more than tv shows, it’s about control of the airwaves and access which is as basic as it gets.

Here’s an idea from a poster on Niki’s site, call the FCC/Congress and demand an END to the unfair cable monopolies, demand unbundled services and competition in urban markets, TimeWarner/Viacom will change their tune fast!
