Daniel Radcliffe picks “Colbert Report” Best TV show of year
ByIt’s time for the Best Of lists to start officially rolling in, and it looks like Stephen Colbert has made a very special list, according to Broadway.com:
It takes some serious star power to nab the Star of the Year for your Broadway debut, but the fans have spoken—and after meeting the new titleholder, Daniel Radcliffe, we couldn’t help but be charmed as well. There’s a lot more to this talented British import than Harry Potter and the horse play, however, as we discovered when Radcliffe revealed to us his picks for best of the year. Read on to get to know a few of the superstar’s favorite things of 2008.
…
Best TV Show: “Stephen Colbert, The Colbert Report, definitely. That’s been one of the absolute things I’ve watched every single night after the show.”
For those of you who turned off The Early Show early on November 18th, you missed an adorable interview with Daniel. He’s such a lovely young man. And it’s hard to think of Daniel without thinking of the “Harry Potter” franchise, and it’s hard to think of Stephen Colbert and Harry Potter without thinking of this classic intro from ‘The Colbert Report’. (Sorry, that was a bit of a stretch, wasn’t it?)

it would be cool if Colbert could have Mr Radcliffe on as a guest sometime, especially after this!

I first thought, “Not THAT Daniel Radcliffe,” but it is! Congratulations Stephen!
Also, congratulations to Daniel. It takes much dedication to be that young and opt for 8(?) performances a week. His time spent on the theater stage won’t be regretted.

Just another reason to love Radcliffe! After learning about the song he wrote and performed with the Equus “horses” (“The Love That Dare Not Speak Its Neigh”) for Gypsy of the Year, and that he’d raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for charity by auctioning his jeans, I’d already realized he’d grown up to be fairly awesome. :)

You know how I know Radcliffe’s an it-getter?
His “greatest moment of 2008″ was being in the US when Obama got elected. But that’s not the it-getting part, tho. It’s when he tuned in to Fox News and watched them “all cry” afterwards, LoL!
Harry Potter better be ‘wriststrong’ this summer. XD

I love DanRad and I love Stephen. Stephen needs to have him on the show. That would be a really funny interview. I would love to hear Stephen’s thoughts on Equus.
