- Demetri will perform his stand-up routine tonight at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater. Looks like advance tickets for this one are sold out, but you might still be able to snag some standy-by tickets, if you’re interested. Details are here.

I was so, so, SO happy to hear that Demetri’s show is still in the works! I’ve been scouring the Comedy Central website trying to find information about it, and now I’m tickled pink that we’ll get to see it in the near future.
PS–My favorite joke: “This is a pie chart of procrastination.” *flips page and all that’s there is a circle* It gets me every single time. Yey!

I’m also quite partial to his representation of “Balloon Animals I Can Make”; the one with drawings of just the regular, tube-shaped balloons (inflated, but untwisted) with captions like “worm” and “snake” and “eel” — hee! And that graph plotting a girl’s “hotness” and the corresponding level of Demetri’s interest in how intuitive her cat is — genius. :)

Thurs Dec 4th is “An Evening With The Daily Show and Friends” at Comix. their site says Pete Holmes, Adam Lowitt, Rory Albanese, and John Oliver will be there this month.
I just wanted to get that in cuz I went a few months ago (after reading about it on six degrees) and it was a GREAT TIME!!! very very funny. my highest recommendations.
