Six Degrees: Odds and ends

I’m not even going to pretend I’ve been keeping up with everything and everyone lately; not only have I been way too swamped for that, you all would know instantly how ludicrous an assertion it was.

Nonetheless, there are a few things I thought I’d drop into a post for you all (because there actually *are* one or two things going on in the world aside from the impending broadcast of A Colbert Christmas); please chime in with comments and/or links if you think of anything else your fellow fans will enjoy reading.

Jon Stewart

• Remember that gig at Hamilton Jon did a couple of weeks ago? He did a little Q&A beforehand that had some nice quotes; read it here (h/t jennie).

• John continues his promotional tour for More Information Than You Require, and I sure hope you’ve been able to catch one of his book signings. If not, you can catch him on the upcoming Best Week Ever.

• Oh, and did you know he was musical? Here’s a great vid of him with Jonathan Coulton (and yes, they will eventually record an audiobook for More — please be patient!).

Adam Schlesinger (Composer/Producer, A Colbert Christmas)

Rob Corddry (former correspondent, The Daily Show)

• Congratulations to Rob and his wife, who welcomed new daughter Marlo Stevenson Corddry into the world earlier this month. Way to go, Corddry family!
