I just thought I’d take a quick moment to promote a little writing I’ve been doing elsewhere. My buddy Lorelle VanFossen, WordPress guru and all-around snazzy lady, invited me to write a series about the steps it takes to run a fan blog. While I am a fan, I am also a webmaster and blogger, and decided to step up to her challenge. I have created a blog post series for her site called “The Art of the Fan-based Blog“. I talk about some of the behind-the-scenes workings of this site and give lots of tips for anyone who has ever considered starting a fan site of their own.
Please go check Lorelle’s site out and my blog series if you’ve got a few minutes – I made sure to include some Stephen Colbert eye candy for her to use with the posts in the series, and you may learn a few more things about me, and about how we do what we do here at No Fact Zone.

Db, this site is very interesting and we all appreciate your and the other blogger’s efforts to keep it so current and informative.

Congrats on the series! I think it’s sorta funny how your ten steps are “The 10 Cs” as opposed to another letter. Hehehe… There’s always a connection back to the Nation in just about everything. : )

If I did create a fan-based blog, it would be for Stephen Colbert, but you’ve already got it covered!
