The Colbert Report Episode News:
- Tickets were briefly available for another ‘A Colbert Christmas’ screening on November 11. Keep checking the site – you never know what might pop up.
- This Colbert Report Global Edition clip is groan-worthily punny.
- Spoiler alert: advance notice that Socialist Party presidential candidate Brian Moore will appear on Tuesday night’s Report.
- Comedy Central releases details for the live prime-time Election Night Special of both The Daily Show and The Colbert Report, at 10pm EST. Can’t wait!
- Download the mp3 of the exclusive ‘Wilco the Song’ from Thursday night’s Colbert Report.
Mainstream Media:
- Colbert, Stephen Colbert, is spotted by The Washington Post filming a segment at D.C.’s International Spy Museum.
- Oops, the Meet the Press staff made a mistake with the ‘presidential battleground state map’. Texas isn’t a battleground state!
- Canton, Ohio, used to be Stephen’s favorite Canton. . . until Senator Barack Obama came to town.
- The election season has been very, very good to ratings for both The Daily Show and The Colbert Report.
- The mainstream media needs to calm down and get through the election before they worry about whether Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert will be able to crack jokes after November 4. They’ll be FINE.
We Call It The Joy Machine:
- Oh hai, I think I have that photo on my memory card (and burned into my brain): an Eye Candy image of Stephen, up close and personal.
- Klassic Kolbert: Dermot Mulroney discussed Yo-Yo Ma (this Monday night’s guest) in December 2005.
- Susan Sarandon is the best wife ever: she got Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart to do a skit on video for Tim Robbins on his 50th birthday.
- Happy Halloween! Enjoy the Klassic Kolbert Even Stevphen Halloween skit. “I want candy!”
- Do you need a reason for pinstriped Eye Candy? Didn’t think so.
Six Degrees of Stephen Colbert:
- Hey, nice get: Senator Barack Obama will appear on Wednesday night’s The Daily Show via satellite.
- Six Degrees of way too many people: John Oliver, Rob Riggle, Eric Drysdale, Laura Krafft, Kristen Schaal, Aasif Mandvi, Wyatt Cenac, Steve Bodow, DJ Javerbaum, Lewis Black, and John Hodgman.
- Canada’s Globe and Mail catches up with Colbert Report writer and ‘Stephen Colbert’s secret weapon,’ Barry Julien.
