Love me some Halloween! I love seeing the kiddos dressed up like faries and Batman, and I love seeing adults do their best to be a “tarty” or “sexy” whatever. But of course, I always have to make things about Stephen, so when I thought about the day, I realized it gave me an excuse to dust off one of my favorite “Even Stephven” videos from The Daily Show. Thank you DB. Flatpoint is right. That is one of the greatest Even Stephen segments I have seen. I have not seen many due to the fact that I have only been watching the Daily Show for 2 years now. I love how Steve is so mean to Stephen. And the crying Stephen does!

We didn’t make it to any parties this year but we’re going to take our kids out trick-or-treating and take our “parent tax” out of their candy loot. Our son is going as Optimus Prime even though he’s never even seen Transformers and our daughter is going as Ariel, the Little Mermaid.

I’m dressing up as a faux “Mrs. Colbert” for Halloween. Nothing trashy. Just fun. I’m going to wear a pin-striped skirt, pumps and a pair of glasses. I’ll wear a royal blue silk tie to add some flair. Wish I had a wriststrong bracelet:( I’m wearing a red bracelet to compensate.
P.S. I know you’re already married Stephen and I think the real Mrs. Colbert is awesome:)

Haha, where did you get that pumpkin photo? I used that exact pattern to carve a squash (the store was out of pumpkins…) last Thursday, but whoever did that one did a much better job.
