Hey, kiddos! I feel badly that I’ve been practically MIA on the site lately, but I’m still completely under water at work and, much as it pains me to admit it, that’s got to take priority every now and again.
This, of course, is why I’m all the more amused by the fact that Stephen is evidently pulling double-duty. According to this story on CBR, Stephen is not only playing the role of our favorite pundit by day, he’s also fighting crime by night (or vice versa)! From Comic Book Resources:

[Editor's note: That pic makes me smile because, in my head, I know Spidey's just the sidekick!]

That large panel is missing something…oh, I know: a strategically placed R.E.M. album!

The extreme nerd in me just made me do a little dance in my chair.
I wish I were kidding. Lol. Curse my friend Abby and her invading my brain with comic book fangirling. Oh well. I enjoy every moment of being a geek. :)

Ditto. I think I’m experiencing some kind of nerd Tourette’s.

Awesome! There is this strange and unexplained part of me that just loves Spiderman! Don’t ask why…I have no supportfor this feeling, but to me Spiderman is just the shiz. Shweeeeeeet!

That is awesome!! Just when you thought Stephen couldn’t get any cooler something like this happens.
I can’t wait for it to come out. And I expect some kind of mention on the show complete with web action of some sort. Or a visit from ‘Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man’.
I am definitely going to be ordering the special Stephen cover. (It’s listed on their site so it better be true.) It’ll look great next to my Tek Jansen comics.

Wait, wasn’t it revealed just a couple months ago that in the Marvel universe, Stephen’s one of those alien (or something) things that pretends to be human in order to take over the world, or something like that?

That’s what I thought. And wasn’t he also running for president there?

Coincidentally, I just watched that interview earlier today (I need to get a life):

I believe the aliens are called Skrulls, and (assuming we’re thinking of the same comic pages that were posted) I think there wasn’t a guarantee that Stephen was actually one of them, since some of the other figures speaking on the aliens’ behalf were fictional characters in the Marvel World. Or something. Comics aren’t exactly bastions of consistency anyway. ;)

That. is. awesome.

I’ve just realized something…
Something major is going to happen to Dr.Colbert in this upcoming issue. He’s a major candidate in the Marvel universe, but when the election is decided, a the real-life winner will be their president.
So he is going to be a) killed or b) sent to another universe (preferably ours) c) transformed into a new super hero d) other
Regardless, something will happen to him.
