How cute was THAT?! Jon and Stephen are just so adorable together. It’s fantastic that they’re both presenting as winners tonight.
Only Stephen Colbert could make eating prunes sexy, am I right, ladies? From the segment: “America needs prunes. It may not be a young, sexy plum. Granted, it’s shriveled and at times hard to swallow. But this dried-up old prune has the experience we need.” Nice way of slipping politics into the presentation, boys!
So they tone it down this year and decide to keep it classy with… a prune joke. : ) Steve Carell laughing at them was so cute.
Oh what the hell. Everybody’s adorable.

Awesome, they are so much better than the other hosts. I mean duh they’re funnier, but they can actually read. I loved the fact that one actor fumbled through his statement about articulating sentences. What a goof.

Stephen trying to make Jon laugh as much as humanly possible is one of my most favorite things. I love it how the apples of Jon’s cheeks look like they’re about to pop. Hehhee…
“What could possibly go wrong?”

Mm, I was also hoping for the juvenile yet humorous conclusion. Gonna have to add this to that new Colbert University course, huh?

OK, suggestion to the people who plan the Emmys:
1) Figure out who are the best presenters at the Emmys.
2) Realize it’s Jon and Stephen, hands down, no competition.
3) Hire Jon and Stephen to host the Emmys together next year.
And, repeat.
;)
OK, so I know that Jon and Stephen are really busy and the Emmy people would never hire them to host the entire show, but a girl can dream, can’t she? Thank God for Twitter and NFZ. I really couldn’t handle the hosts this year; I had to turn off the TV and wait for updates from you guys. From what I saw the show was really monstrous this year.

Agreed on all points.
Hey, Jon’s hosted the Oscars, so we know it’s possible!!!

I second. I have a very serious dislike for Ryan Seacrest. Sorry…had to be said.

Ah, yeah. Please invite Stephen and Jon to host next year. Watching these five is rather painful:(

They were so adorable! I cracked up so hard when Stephen read the name of the first winner into the mike kind of loud and made Jon jump. xD

Yeah. Me too! He looked genuinely startled. Haha!

Colbert didn’t say
“…this dried-up old prune has the experience we need”
He said:
“…this dried-up old FRUIT has the experience we need”
Was he implying something?

Stephen, you were really downing those prunes. I hope you, er, feel alright later on:)
Thank you for eating on camera again:) It’s great to see someone who is so far from a prune eating a prune.
