It never ceases to amaze me what the crew over at Colbert University puts together for our knowledge and amusement. First, let me introduce to you our newest full-time faculty member from Colbert University – Lisa! She’s been an active Zoner here in the comments for a very long time, and we managed to recruit her to help with Colbert University as an administrator along with WordsWithGrace. Here’s her bio, from the Colbert University faculty page:
I started helping out with updating Colbert University when needed and quickly moved on to update and maintain the Extra Credit Reading List. I’ve now been honored and humbled with the broader task of assisting with daily oversight of all of CU, and I couldn’t possibly be having more fun doing so!
I’m a married 31-year-old die-hard New Jersey suburbanite, living a few towns outside of Princeton. I work in publishing and my duties run the entire gamut of the editorial, production, and publishing process. During my down time, I enjoy spending time with my wonderful It-Getter husband of over 5 years as well as all our friends and family. I also love to read, write, and take all of our friends’ money during our annual Texas Hold ‘Em poker tournaments. I also love watching documentaries, going to concerts, and visiting as many Jersey diners as humanly possible.
As her first major duty since sharing the helm over at CU, she has put together an amazing work of tastiness – GAST 101: Gastronomic Adventures. Over the years, we’ve seen Stephen consume just about a little bit of everything: from an endless number of Doritos to an entire table of delectable fried goodies. So, sit back, put on your little restaurant-style plastic bib, and enjoy a smorgasbord of notable edible moments that span from his early years all the way up until the present.
If you like to watch Stephen eat as much as we do (and we do), you’re going to LOVE getting lost in the videos in this course! Thanks so much, Lisa, for all the hard work that went into this archive! We look forward to seeing what other work you can do over at our sister site.
Congratulations Lisa! I love your new course! Amazing job and very thorough…..just like everything at CU!

Yay, another minion!!! Welcome to the staff, Lisa!
This is an amazing course, and it looks like there are a lot of videos I haven’t seen before. I can’t wait to go through them all.

So there is someone else still having vid problems! Are you still getting white panels on the Colbert Nation site? I have a pc as well.

Yes I get only a white box and they don’t respond to my queries for help and I need to access clips to write the CU It getter’s quizzes. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

I’ve spoken with the people at the CC blogging department, and I’ve been told that the head of the video department is very aware of the problem and is doing everything in their power to get these fixed for everyone.
Hopefully this issue will be fixed very soon.

Let’s compare notes: I have Windows XP. I’ve got IE and Firefox. Downloaded Adobe Flashplayer 9. Embeds work on NFZ.

Wonderful work, Lisa!
Has anyone else tried looking everywhere for the Indecision 2004 video clip of Jon & Stephen sharing a slice of pizza without luck? So disappointing; that is one of my favorites.
