For those of you who weren’t able to make to to the theater for The Love Guru, or were watiting for the DVD to come out to see the movie, your time has come! The 2-disk Special Edition of The Love Guru, in DVD and Blu-Ray, will be available on September 16th! And according to DVDTown,com, there’s a “Back in the Booth” with Jay and Trent,” feature which contains about five more minutes with the goofy sports announcers played by Stephen Colbert and Jim Gaffigan. Huzzah!

For anyone interested, I found some brilliant individual on YouTube who consolidated all of Stephen’s scenes from the film. Just enter “Stephen Colbert on The Love Guru” and the video should come up. The quality isn’t great, but hopefully this will ease the wait and placate:)

They actually left some out! Lol. I don’t want to give anything away (I’m sure no one will mind) but he actually comes back suddenly an a state of considerable undress (and eventually passes out) and there are some great quotes from that too.
I love how we get to see him basically unravel before our eyes. Lol. He’s miraculous at taking any character and making them hilarious.
