Problems with videos on the main ‘Colbert Report’ site?

questionI’ve heard multiple reports on people having issues watching videos on the main ‘Colbert Report’ video site, but these same people aren’t having issues with the embeddable videos featured here.

If you’re having these problems, could you please do a quick rundown of the issue in the comments here? Please give details such as:

  • What browser are you using (IE 6/7, Firefox 2.x/3, Safari)?
  • Are you on High-speed internet or dial up?
  • Does trying to access the video lock up the browser?
  • Is it just the TCR site or are there problems with the TDS site?

    Hello,

    I’ve been experiencing this. Quite frustrating. I’m using
    Firefox 3.0.4
    Ubuntu Hardy Heron

    The video “Daily Show Remixes Sarah Palin Hits” crashes firefox with a
    segfault but only if I enable scripts from mtvnservices using the “no
    script” addon. If I don’t enable this site then firefox doesn’t crash
    but I can’t see the video either.

    The situation is not optimal.

    Please let me know if I can provide any other information.
