4 VIP tickets and Backstage Tour to ‘The Colbert Report’ for benefit auction on eBay
By
A friend of the blog has asked me to bring to your attention a very unique opportunity to bid for VIP tickets and a backstage tour. Here’s what it says about the auction on eBay:
4 VIP Tickets plus at Backstage Tour to Comedy Central’s ‘The Colbert Report’ with Stephen Colbert.
Everyone attending must be at least 18 years old and have photo IDs. The show tapes Monday through Thursday in New York City. Air and ground transportation to New York, NY, as well as accommodations, will not be provided. Winner will set up a date with the ‘Colbert Report’ to attend. Backstage Tour will happen either before or after the show. Personal cameras are allowed during the tour.
The proceeds from this charity auction will go to musician Kelly Buchanan. On March 9, Kelly suffered a traumatic brain injury after being hit by a ball while scrimmaging with her amateur hockey team in Brooklyn. In the weeks and months following, Kelly’s health has been a roller coaster of recovery and relapse. Now 6 months after the injury occurred, Kelly remains unable to drive, take public transportation, type or read on a computer, or to work as a musician or in any other capacity. You can support her by checking out her website at www.kellybuchanan.com.
Here’s hoping this auction helps this very talented musician in her struggles, and makes a TCR fan very happy in the process.

Well, the funds *are* for charity, to help someone injured and in need of funds.

I am so sorry to hear about Kelly Buchanan’s brain injury. My thoughts and prayers go out to her and her loved ones.
I am going to bid on this auction, but I hope it ends up going for much more than I can afford.
