SIX DEGREES: Vids from the TDS/TCR Comedy Jam, featuring all kinds of show writers!

Thanks to YouTubers Sklarryeyes and shwahaha for posting videos of The Daily Show/Colbert Report Improv Jam. The first video is a roll call of some of the participants. And for you attention to detail types (looks at MsInterpreted), hopefully we can get the names of some of the participants in the second video – I recognize Rob Riggle, Ed Helms, Wyatt Cenac, Peter Gwinn, with John Oliver and Barry Julien in the background. wow, that looks like CRAZY amounts of fun! even though I couldn’t exactly follow the jokes with the audio, the laughing and all the familiar people running around still made those videos enjoyable!

I had to watch the second one twice, but the second time it made TONS more sense, because I knew where the joke was going.

Who’s the guy in the yellow shirt? Peter Grosz? Who’s the guy in the striped shirt (not Peter Gwynn, but the other one)?

I believe the guy to the far right in the 2nd pic with the greyish-blue shirt, brown pants and glasses is Richard Dahm. Does anyone know? Whoever he is, I actually thought he was the funniest that night – even funnier than the “corresponts”.

That’s actually Peter Gwinn. He is a very, very experienced improviser so it’s no wonder he was better than some of the others!

If you watch The Daily Show, you may have noticed that Rob Riggle reported LIVE from the Olympics on Thursday’s show. Would you believe TDS flew him back to NY just so he could do UCB’s Marathon? Then they flew him back so he could report from the Olympics again this week! Talk about dedication!
