Rationally I tell myself that I absolutely have no use for a desk calendar, that everything in it comes straight out of the wonderful book I own, and that I have no money.
Why then am I still experiencing a nagging urge to buy it?

Oh my, I am ridiculously broke. Since I’m just a student, I didn’t feel the need to be employed this summer. That was a wrong move. I guess I’ll have to spend the remains of my crumpled dollar bills on those two items. I hope they’re not like $20 each. I think I would cry.
Paying for bus-fare doesn’t help with the situation either. I guess Stephen’s beaming face will cheer me up once I purchase him.

oh I love calendars but they have to be good. if there is no room to write things on the actual days then I’ll be very annoyed.
I mean like the Colbertness of it will overcome.
