For those who haven’t seen Stephen Colbert’s guest stint on Law and Order: Criminal Intent in Episode 3-16 titled “The Saint” (original air date: March 14, 2004, Season: 3), the episode airs tomorrow (7/22) on the USA network at 7:00pm EST. Stephen gets to flex his dramatic chops for this emotional role and I love revisiting this show when I’m lucky enough to catch a rerun.
Oh noes I can’t wach it :( And I’ve been dying to see “serious” Colbert.

I saw it once a while back, but I just saw a commercial on the USA network that said the episode tonight at 7 (in just a few minutes) is one with Christopher Lloyd. :(
Hopefully the commercial is wrong.

Thanks! I’ve been busy doing a play lately. But we just had our last performance. *is sad* It kept me busy through the two week TCR vacation though, so no complaints!

i keep waiting for him to say something funny.
guess i’m just stupid or like mentally trained to laugh at what he says, i’ve been watching him be funny for a long time…
anyways, i’m about halfway through the youtube one, and i have to say he does a good job at being serious.

I love Stephen’s comment about how, for him, the show was like a 45 minute set-up with no punch line.
The best scenes are the one where he’s kinda angry (toward the end) and the last scene. So if anyone misses the beginning, they will only be confused because the plot is convoluted.

Me too!
I normally hate Criminal Intent, but I bent my rule for Stephen. I mean he was great as usual, but it’s not his style.
