According to the list, Stephen’s nominated specifically for episode #4051. A quick search in NFZ’s archives shows that 4051 was the episode in Philadelphia with Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and John Edwards. I personally thought Stephen should’ve been nominated for an episode during his presidential run, but whatever gets him the Emmy… :)

Congrats to Stephen, Jimmy and all the writers for well-deserved Emmy nominations! Also congrats to Jon– I thought he did a great job with the Oscars this year (still rooting for Stephen, though)!

You know, if Rickles wins this year, that’s gonna be one ugly feud… XD

I just want to note that either way, Northwestern rules, because a) first off, there’s Stephen, ’nuff said and b) Seth Meyers, listed as head writer for SNL, is also an NU alum. Woo hoo!

It’s great that Jon was nominated for hosting the Oscars but I was a little disappointed that he didn’t also receive a nomination for TDS.
