I was laughing hysterically through the whole segment. Thankfully, it’s funny enough to dull the exceptionally depression overtone of the whole situation. Stephen’s dark humor just cripples me into laughter.

I had the exact same thought. I think the the last bathroom scene was the TDS audience bathroom that you can use while you're waiting to get into the show. I vaguely remember that sink.

The sweet irony of this clip on the loss of privacy, is the the whole time he was in the kitchen, I was thinking: “Hey, could that be Stephen’s actual kitchen?” and then “Hey, maybe that’s Stephen’s actual neighborhood.”

I’m glad this clip is one so many of you rate as a fave; it’s about the only silver lining to this depressing, infuriating day.

I hear you on the “excessively political rant” bit. I’ve been trying (and failing) to hold mine in all day. I’m so royally … [breathe] … upset about the FISA vote, I can’t even put it into words. I tried (when I was emailing and calling Congress), but now all that’s left is for me to go to Accountability Now, the ACLU and the EFF and see how much I can afford to give to them. It’s a sad day for anyone who cares about the Constitution. Perhaps later (if I’m feeling equal to it) I’ll write a thank you card to Sens. Feingold, Dodd, et al, for tilting at the windmills and at least trying to stop this all from taking place.

that was a great clip, and yeah I’m pretty infuriated about the dems and FISA as well. but i’m gonna hold back on an excessively political rant and just say, i love how Jon playfully says at the end, “Stephen, I don’t think that was dark enough…” So true… that was some pretty dark stuff!
