Here’s what we added to CU in June:
- The June It-Getter's Quiz, written by Faculty Associate Vigwig.
- Ha ha! Enjoy Adult Swim’s compilation of Stephen’s animated alter ego, Phil Ken Sebben.
- Catch glimpses of Stephen’s office as he remakes a young(er) comedian into the perfect host.
- Recently added character breaks: On The Daily Show, Stephen loses it while chatting about polygamy; Stephen’s new iPod Nano postage stamp refuses to cooperate.
- New audience questions (and Stephen’s answers), in our revamped Audience-Questions Archive: Would he consider appearing on The Office? … How often does he teach Sunday school? What did he do on his May vacation? Who did he vote for on American Idol? … What will his next book be about? What books does he have on his shelves? … How did he get to be in the new movie The Love Guru? (Thanks to hip and lullabylily on the Colboards, and “Zoner” Laurel, for reporting the questions!)
- Stephen’s interview with anti-gay-marriage activist Tony Perkins is added to Nailings 101, our collection of particularly memorable nailings.
- More additions to the Extra-Credit Reading List, a list of books promoted by their authors on the Report!
- Read guest David Sirota’s reflections on his interview, in Behind the Scenes at The Colbert Report.
- And Faculty Associate Lisa continues to update and expand the Extra Credit Reading List, a list of books whose authors have appeared on the show, making it more and more impressive—check it out!

No. I don’t remember where I read it (St. Paul Pioneer Press, maybe?), but The Colbert Report will not be at the RNC. But a regular week of TCR is still quite a catch!

Yeah, I found an earlier NFZ post from May 1st which said The Daily Show was going to the RNC, but not TCR. Oh well. If I can see Stephen in the flesh, I will be fulfilled:)

Unfortunately, they’re all gone now, but I hope some of you were able to get a few. With any luck, I’ll be there September 3rd with some of my peeps. Hope to see some Zoners in line!
