Six Degrees: John Oliver on DVD!

Yay! Some of you may recall my complaints about the way Comedy Central chopped up John’s standup special earlier this year into heavily edited, easier-to-digest pieces. Happily for me, they’re going to be releasing the “Uncensored and Unrated” version in August, complete with extras (including some from a show at the Upright Citizens Brigade I was at — I’m giddy!). June 19, 2008 – On August 19 2008, Paramount Home Entertainment will release John Oliver: Terrifying Times (Uncensored and Unrated) on DVD. The stand-up comedy special DVD will feature Daily Show correspondent John Oliver penciling in what makes the world a terrifying place. It will contain bonus materials and extra features, and the DVD will be available for the MSRP (Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price) of $19.98.
