I like the eye candy included in this post. What a cute pic of Stephen!

I have no doubt that Colbert is the funniest person in the film. How could anyone be funnier than Stephen Colbert?

if you’re going to be in an obviously bad movie, this is the way to do it. you can know how awesome you are when you sign up and then be the shining star!

although I wish John Oliver more good comments too…there’s at least that one.

I knew this wasn’t going to be the greatest movie. but because of Stephen, I’m obligated to see it! I’m glad to see he did his best to hold up the rest of the movie. Some movies are just beyond saving.

Hahaha! Loved this review bit: “…it would have been funnier if one of the teams had a bear for a mascot so that Colbert could riff on the film’s pro-bear agenda.”

Too bad they couldn’t cross “Stephen” with the character he plays in the movie.

And, ouch! RottenTomatoes.com is usually my gauge on whether or not I’ll like pretty much anything, with only a few exceptions. Perhaps as they add more reviews to the movie’s page, the rating will go up a tad.

Does anyone know how large of a role this is? I mean, is his total screen time just a couple of minutes? Considering the lousy reviews in general, I may wait for the DVD (and hopefully Stephen outtakes).

Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like “Get Smart” is getting much better reviews. That makes me sad.

Is it a coincidence that the best bits were improvised by Stephen himself? Probably not. Someone please stop giving Mike Myers the money to make films.
