I’m an idiot and totally missed that there was a link to audio of the Q&A from the Get Smart Apple Store event in the THE USA Today article I linked to earlier; thanks so much for pointing it out, AmandaIvy!
So for all of you who, like me, missed this, click on the link below for some (ahem) “aural velvet”.
“My wife says that.”
HAHAH!

That was my favorite line of the night. It reminded me of Michael Scott’s “That’s what she said” joke in “The Office”.

Wouldn’t it be great to be able to just listen to them all go off on random comedic tangents, and see how long they could just be funny and silly together?
Shout Out (Hey!):

YES! really all of them are extremely funny people in my book. this includes Anne Hathaway.
that was just so fun to listen to! :)

That would be amazing! I could sit and watch the three of them together all night. I had no idea how funny Anne Hathaway was. She really held her own with the two funniest people on television.

Awww… Ms I, you’re not an idiot. Quite the opposite in fact.

I love Stephen interviewing out of character. :D

I love that line! Oh how I do love Stephen out of character. And i have now put Steve Carell on the list of people who I’d like to meet just behind Colbert.

I’m on a Mac and tried clicking on the link in the article, using first Firefox then Safari, but no luck with either. :-( Shoot. Sounds really funny, too…

iTunes has the full podcast up now, I believe.

If you have iTunes, you’ll be able to get it eventually. It’s not posted yet, though (which is why it’s not linked here); there are Apple Store Get Smart events posted, but not the one from SoHo yet.
Until then … sorry. :(

Yeah, what MsI said. My mistake. I noticed it said “Get Smart” and jumped to conclusions. Lol.

Ah, now I *do* have iTunes, so I just went and subscribed to the Get Smart Podcasts. When the Apple Store one pops in there, I’ll be sure to say something, if someone else hasn’t first.
Thanks kindly for helping out this Interwebs noob, Amanda and Ms. I! I haven’t had my Mac for very long, so I’m still figuring things out a bit… :-)

volume is definitely on the low side, but i was able to listen to it after cranking everything up.

oh no! why, oh why, wasn’t i there to see them too! this is so good and they are so terrific together. i love hearing stephen’s voice; it’s a beautiful voice just to listen to, but to see them talking together and cracking each other up –sigh.

I loves these two guys so much. So down to earth and so outside of the Hollywood culture. What I would give to be in Anne Hathaway’s shoes….stylish ones at that.
I loved the end of the segment when Steve made clear that he would pursue roles he loved, but would not pursue roles just to prove something.
