Red carpet chatter at the Peabody Awards

The New York Post is sharing some video of various celebrities from yesterday’s Peabody Award ceremony. Naturally, Stephen Colbert is given plenty of exposure.

The 67th Annual Peabody Awards were held yesterday at the Waldorf-Astoria in New York City and the casts of “Mad Men,” “Project Runway” and “30 Rock” were on hand to pick up their trophies. The Peabody’s recognize distinguished achievement and meritorious public service by TV and radio stations, networks, producing organizations, individuals and the World Wide Web.

Tina Fey’s comment was hilarious: “There’s always room for Jello and awards.”

The comment about not getting on the ballot in South Carolina made me sad. Not only for Stephen, but for the state of this country. It’s weird that 13 people get to decide who can run for President in their state. Plus it costs thousands of dollars to do it. Okay, I’m done now. [/tangent]
