The Comedy Central website for The Colbert Report announced that a perfomance of “Hollow Man” by R.E.M. will be broadcast tonight. From Comedy Central:

Not only that, but if he’s planning on attending the Peabody luncheon today, he’ll be out of the office for awhile too. Good idea to fill the time. Hopefully, there won’t be any uncomfortable stools and codpieces involved this time. Hehehe…

It probably is a time-filler, but hey, we can give the man some slack. He does so much it’s a wonder he finds time to eat or sleep, much less go to luncheons and do readings for Bloomsday.
Plus, I love REM. Though hopefully that stool will be out of the question.
