A final wrap-up on the Webby awards, from The Swamp (Baltimore Sun):
Webby Award-night: ‘Me me me me me’
With winners limited to five words, comedian Stephen Colbert (humbly?) accepted his prize for best person by saying: ‘Me me me me me.’
by Mark Silva. . .
There was no need for humility on this evening. Comedian Stephen Colbert, receiving the prize for best person and holding the trophy over his head, followed the rules to the letter in declaring simply: “Me me me me me.”
This is the clearest video I’ve seen of this so far. You can really see that smirk that he gets right before he speaks, like he knows where it is going and it amuses him, and I smiled right along with him. That smirk is KILLING me!

I agree with you DB. Stephen’s expression right before giving his five word speech made me smile. His speech was perfect too.
This is the best Webby video that I’ve seen so far. Thank you for posting it.

Hahaha! Much better video. His acceptance “speech” makes more sense after finding out that they were doing only 5 word “speeches”. When I first saw it all I could think of is, “Well, we know the It-Getters will get it, but I’m not sure anyone else will.” Oops…

I’m not sure why, but at 3:10, just before Colbert’s introduced?, the video stops and offers to replay.
I’ve tried accessing the video both with and without a proxy, and the same thing happens.
I think machines hate me…D:
