The intro was really funny. And it’s definitely better seeing him goof around under the credits, than looking at the crap CC puts on the screen.
Also, thanks for putting all the global editions together for easy access. :D

Amen! Having been to a taping, I know for a fact that watching Stephen goof around during the closing is more fun than watching CC adverts. More goofing!

Awe, handshakes for everyone in the front row! Is that typical for every taping, or just the ones they use for the Global Editions? Lucky front row-ers!

I so wish we got the same credits at the end. I think I can speak for all of us when I say WE GET IT, IIAASCY! IS IN BOOKSTORES NOW!
HEAR THAT, COMEDY CENTRAL?!
Ahem… (sorry for all the caps. Lol.)
“You have Stonehenge, we have John McCain” actually made me snort my tea. I’m pretty sure some came out my nose, because it burns.

you make the one closing advertisement good enough, you don’t need to make another.

What’s with the pile of shirts on the shelf? Looks like shirts Noblet might wear.

I also love seeing Stephen and the audience during the credits, rather than the ad for his book.
But, I’m sorry, what’s happening? How exactly does this Global Edition work? It seems that we see these special intros once a week, but don’t those in the UK get to see TCR four days a week still? Does only one of the shows have a special opening?
Shout Out (Hey!):

The Global Edition’s a weekly thing; it more or less runs like a regular episode except that it’s made up of different segments from the past week and they have the special intros/closings.

Ohh, I see. Thanks for the explanation.

So does Global Edition run on Friday and the regular episodes run the rest of the week?
Shout Out (Hey!):

No, because then we’d be seeing the show several hours in advance of Stephen taping it.
We see the Mon-Thu shows on Tue-Fri, and the Monday slot is used for the Global Edition of the previous week’s shows.

In Europe and Britain, TCR is shown the following night – so they get Monday’s show on Tuesday…. Thursday’s show on Friday. So the Global edition is shown on Monday and is from the previous weeks episodes.

I’m not sure how they do it with TCR (we don’t get it in Australia yet), but the TDS Global Edition used to run here on free-to-air on Thursdays. Now it’s only on CNN International over the weekend at some ungodly hour like 2am. We get the regular episodes a day behind, last Thursday’s on Monday, Monday’s on Tuesday… and so on. [/unnecessarily long explanation]
