Vote for the Colbert Nation over at TV Squad

(The phrase “nutty” made me think of squirrel, which made me think of this picture. It’s a stretch, but it’s a cute picture, no?)

Okay, after a round of nominations, TV Squad’s Annie Wu has picked five fandoms to be the most passionate, the most rabid and the nuttiest fan group out there. And the Colbert Nation got a nod!

The Colbert Nation would probably kill for their glorious leader, which is why the world should be thankful that Stephen Colbert is a level-headed guy. In fact, fans have done more good than murder in the name of Colbert. From supporting the ongoing Wriststrong campaign to raise money for Donors Choose to pushing their man’s name on the “Time 100″ poll, viewers have shown that it despite the fact that the program is just a half-hour piece on Comedy Central, Colbert’s effect is global.

So go over to TV Sqaud right now and vote for yourself! Because a vote for yourself is a vote for Stephen Colbert.

I ask you, would tixs to those other shows disappear as fast as Report tixs? I think not.

Get in there and vote, nation! We’re a few votes behind “moonlight,” whatever the heck that is.

Haha, I’ve never heard of Moonlight either.

But yeah, at this time of writing we’re only 70 votes behind. I think we can scrounge up a few more (err, make that dozens of) people, right Nation? I’ll see if I can get some of my TCR watching buddies to cast their votes. Whatever the outcome though, TCR has quite the fandom. The Hungarian bridge alone speaks for itself.

It’s great that Ms. Wu is acknowledging the Nation and her own solid Colbert fandom, but if any of those clips get “disappeared” from YT because she’s put them in her blog, I’m gonna be pretty annoyed! >:-p

Especially “Dancin’!” Geez, have a *care*, Annie!
