I love when they have those giant collages that take up the whole screen, leaving just a tiny tiny space for Stephen’s (or Jon’s) face.

Also, how awesome was the Sex and the City parody on TDS? Love.

Totally agree. On both points. The one on TCR was pretty epic.

I’ve seen that show once and the parody managed to pin everything I disliked about it.

Dealing with the ever-growing collages reminds me that I’ve wanted to remark about the camera-work on both of these shows. They make it look easy, but I know how hard it is to smoothly keep Jon or Stephen in frame while graphics – “Tip/Wag”, The Word, Threat Down – appear and disappear around them. These collages take that to the extreme and I salute and thank these cameramen for their hard work and craftsmanship.

Great Sex and the City parody. Both shows had those collages too. Big character break with the raw shrimp!

Tip/Wag was my favorite segment from tonight’s show. I was glad that Stephen highlighted the Rachael Ray story because I heard a debate about it on the radio this morning. People on both sides of the issue were very serious about it and the discussion lasted way too long. I was so happy for the comedic relief. I also liked the jokes about money, especially the $100 bill.

I was happy to see the shout out to Garrett too. I loved the rain stick and waterfall.

Monday night’s show sounds good. :-)

I LOVED the shout out (don’t you love it when Stephen almost breaks every time they play the “Hey!” sound bite? Hahahaha!) to Garrett too. I was thinking about him the other day when I first heard the story about the malfunctioning toilets on the space station. The rain maker thing-a-ma-bob was hilarious!

I didn’t know we were doing these right away. I hope you guys do a few trial runs before deciding whether or not to continue, because I think it’s one of those things that might take a little bit longer to catch on.

I love hearing Stephen curse as much as the next, uh… fan, but does it seem as if he takes particular delight in saying “poop”. It’s so relatively innocuous, but somehow delightfully naughty in a little boy kind of way. And he seems to have cause to say it so much in the last few days. It just tickles me – poop, poop, poop. That just fills my inner 3-year-old boy with glee!

  7. Brandon says:

Tad Devine – Great porn name.

  8. Brandon says:

I love it when Stephen eats or drinks anything. It almost always results in him laughing or breaking character.
