Wow! Good for you! However, considering how Stephen’s show will have a pretty long run, you might want to switch to Tivo eventually! I’ve just been recording on VHS since January and it’s already getting exhausting.

I have a subscription to TDS and TCR on iTunes. Around the Summer I just began downloading them and saving them onto DVDs every two weeks. Or when they became space gobblers on my computer.

I forgot I had that up. I really ought to upload the other version that I did after this, which is slightly better (to me). The very end of the first part and the second part are edited better and a few slightly different clips in the second part. Isn’t that always the way, after you finish one you find things you think are crappy?
I can’t believe it’s been 200 more eps since then. Well no more videos like this one from me anyway, this took months off my lifespan! :-)

I am not a fan of Charlene so it’s not in there. There’s something from that date, which if I recall is right around Feb. 7, 2006. Whoa that’s scary that I know that from memory.

I haven’t even posted it anywhere. It’s on that DVD that I gave to Stephen, the one Colbert’sMyHero made, which probably got trashed immediately, but I never put it up anywhere. It really is better too. Although probably nobody else would even notice but it IS! Definitely better editing starting at about 8:00. Man I just wanted to finish that thing by that point.
By the way, I just remembered that the clip from the Charlene day is something from The Word, with Stephen doing stand-up in front of a brick wall. Or rather that’s from the day they filmed Charlene, not the day it aired. Well it’s right around 6 Feb if anyone wants to check!

I understand how that goes – there are things I do and redo, and to me those small changes make a HUGE difference in the quality in my opinion (example: the sidebar on this site). The date for the Charlene show is 2/9/06, and I keep praying to the video gods that the whole show will become available at some point. Because it was a special slice of magnificent.
