By request, here’s the first full of a week of Klassic Kolbert reruns, courtesy of No Fact Zone and Comedy Central. I picked this episode for a few reasons. I loved the nativity set this particular year, plus this also has Tek Jansen and writer Frank Lesser as “that guy with the beard”. Plus it features Bobby at the end. How can you go wrong with a knock-out combo like that?

Sweet! This walk down memory lane definitely takes the edge off. Then again, it’s only Monday. Reruns week always starts to get a little dicey around Wednesday. Having NFZ totally helps!

It’s times like these when NFZ really starts to seem like more of a support group for those of us going through withdrawals. :)
What would we do without you?

i think you are right amanda….what are we going to do if this show ever ends? will jesus come on a cloud of glory then?

O_O
What are you talking about “if this show ever ends”? It will NEVER end. It will just go on forever and ever. Stephen’s like Peter Pan, and he’ll never get older.
…at least that’s what I tell myself because I don’t want to contemplate the alternative.

i know, that was a bit harsh. maybe we should contemplate what would happen if the show ended in 20 years, and work our way back. it’s all about the psychology of it.
but, we need to enjoy it every minute it’s on the air.

Wow! What a great episode from beginning to end. I especially liked the sign for the baby Jesus. I am always impressed with how much thought is put into every second of the show. Those small details add a lot (like Juan and the hose in the recent Stephen/Rain dance off).

Great choice! I was at the taping of this episode…It was great, they had to do a rare re-start during the nativity scene when the camera zooms in on the wise man is when the re-do happened. Also, watching Stephen mouth all of the words during the Tek Janses episode was fantastic. Good times, thanks for the rewind!

It’s always nice to see what was happening when. I’ve spent way too much time in these past few months at The Daily Show and Colbert Report websites.

YES!! This is my new favorite part of NFZ and it will make off-weeks go by that much quicker!
(May I request the Filliam H Muffman episode from, I believe, Feb 2006? That is surely Klassic Kolbert!)

@Ashley:
That would be fantastic, however the full sets of vids for episodes only go back to about mid-2006. It’s simply not available. :(

I’ll have to check my home computer, but I may have saved it there … I know I have quite a few of them from late 2005.

We have to add Gwyneth to the number of people he’s killed or maimed. Holy crap. I forgot about that. Thanks for doing this during rerun week. It rocks. Also, we have an online file storage system called Nolij. I hate it.
