O’Reilly to address his “outburst” footage?
ByJust a heads up for those of you with stronger stomachs than I can boast of: Radar is reporting that “Papa Bear” Bill O’Reilly may finally tackle his non-Moment of Zen on tonight’s O’Reilly Factor.
From Radar (internal links omitted):
O’Reilly to Address Inside Edition Meltdown on Tonight’s Factor
Well, now that everyone and Stephen Colbert (above) has taken his turn on Bill O’Reilly’s classic meltdown clip, the one that has hung in there, in part, because of YouTube’s diligent efforts to take it down eight hours after it went up, O’Reilly himself plans to address it on his show tonight—at least as of this moment …
I can’t bring myself to watch this show, but you can bet I’ll be keeping my eyes peeled for any word from News Hounds (or similar sources) on the topic. I can’t imagine what “Papa Bear” thinks of Stephen’s take on it … but it’s amusing for me to try.
UPDATED TO ADD: Here’s a link to the brief response, courtesy of News Hounds. Thanks for the link, gina24!

I’m sure he won’t smugly dismiss it at all. ;)
I missed TCR last night, so that’s the first time I saw that clip. I enjoyed it, but didn’t that bit with Geraldo & O’Reilly happen in April ‘07, not ‘08? (Or is my sense of time really that bad?)

Why do I have this feeling all this came out all of a sudden right after the whole Sue Simmons fiasco? It’s almost like the world was saying, “If you think that’s bad, wait ’til you see this!” Hence, sudden O’Reilly footage… This just confirms that he is the tool we all believe him to be.
