SPOILER ALERT: Rain promos running on Comedy Central today

We got this report in this morning from loyal reader Sheila K. :
At 2 AM NY time EARLY Monday morning (2 hours after midnight) I saw a promo for tonight’s TCR and they said the guest would be …Rain! They didn’t even mention the other guy. So I guess it’s official!
Has anyone else seen the promos? And is anyone else as psyched as me? This is going to be SO fun!

I’m so psyched!
I’ll keep an eye out for the promos. At 2 a.m. I was geeking it up watching “Revenge of the Sith” (God, I love Star Wars, lol), which wasn’t on Comedy Central, so I missed it then.

I should have just called in sick today since I won’t be able to concentrate now. Can someone post a video of the promo or at least say what is shown in the promo?

It was the “standard” TDS/TCR promo that showed a pic of Jon Stewart with “The Daily Show” logo and then Stephen doing that kind of turn of his head that he does while standing up with “The Colbert Report ” logo. The usual voiceover announcer who does all the promos announced the guests for both shows (don’t ask me who the guest on TDS will be LOL)

I saw them! They played in the side “window” while the credits were rolling after Carlos Mencia’s special. I was stoked!!! That was at 10:30 eastern standard time (I think…) They ran a promo for TDS and then the Rain on TCR one, can’t wait…..aahhhhh!!

I believe I saw a promo over the weekend and it didn’t give too much away, but it does make you watch the clock a little more closely to when it’s going to air. Hours seem like days…

I just saw the promos for tonight, too — Rain for TCR and Senator Harry Reid for TDS (it’s 11 a.m. here in California, 2 p.m Eastern time).
There was no mention of Carl Hiaasen for TCR, although that’s what’s still being shown on the TCR web site.
