We mentioned yesterday that Dave Hill, comic extrordinaire and the new Hollywood “It” girl, will be performing in Dave Hill’s Festival of Sight and Sound and Other Stuff at Comix tonight. This show will also feature two of Dave’s buddies, TCR writer Laura Krafft (whom Dave calls “a great piano player [who] bakes a mean cookie”) and new TCR writer Meredith Scardino (Dave calls her [one of] “the greatest people I know”).
However, we’ve received new information that we just had to pass along. A little birdie told me that Dave Hill promises to buy drinks for the first and second people who can talk Laura and Meredith into sitting down for a drink with them at the lobby bar. This, um, bird also said that there is a possibility of a Meet-and-Greet with the featured comics (including Meredith and Laura) after the show.

So show up tonight and support the Colbert Report writers! And Dave Hill! And live comedy! And birds! Yay!
