BREAKING NEWS: Rain has left the “Colbert Report” studios

Here’s the latest and greatest news of Rain’s visit to The Colbert Report studios today, courtesy of Rain-America.com (registration required):

Rain wore shirt, pant with vest. (so handsome)
His hair was still the same as in Speed Racer movie premiere.
Need to mention is he wore eye glasses inside the shooting
but changed to sunglasses when he’s out to make phone calls.Because of bad weather in NY,
Rain finished shooting and left early around 4:00pm.
He only stayed in studio for about an hour.
While Rain was inside the studio, there was camera man shooting
Rain fans outside the studio.
If previous taped segments are any indication, it’s possible that this may not air today. However, it looks as if there has been a segment taped and confirmed. Thank you to the diligent Rain fans over at Rain-America.com who have been keeping everyone updated all day!

I’m not sure if I can wait until tomorrow. Wish they had performed before a live audience, but I’m still thrilled that he actually came…and just a week after the challenge. Maybe he was already coming before Stephen put out the challenge last week.
OK. Must stay calm. Still at work for 1.5 hours.

I’m going to be on-edge until this airs. I *really* hope it’s tonight! Or else my friends are going to be really annoyed with my constant twitchiness.
And yes, the Clouds put us to shame big time. But at the same time, I wouldn’t want to be constantly hounding someone.

Those rainclouds really are on top of things aren’t they? I wonder if the folks at TCR are happy about the spoilers from Rain’s people concerning his appearance on TCR. I know that they sometimes like to surprise us. I doubt they were planning to announce this segment in advance. I guess we will still be surprised though since we don’t know when this is going to air.
Like everyone else, I hope we will see this segment on tonight’s show; however, I keep reminding myself that it could very well be aired another night. We might not even see it this week.
Maybe Rain’s fans will find out when Rain’s appearance is going to air and post it on the internet so we will know.

Thanks for the update NFZ! I’m another one with fingers crossed that it airs tonight–and what will “it” be? Ah, sweet anticipation!
Whenever I see that picture of Rain with the spaniel I can’t help but think how similar the dog’s ears look to Rain’s hair (okay, Rain’s hair is a little more red but still…). I love the dog’s expression too!

Dohhhh!!!!!!! No singing spooning or cuddling with Stephen and Rain today. That’s ok though. That last scene where Stephen wore the long blue dress that Feist gave him made up for the lack of Rain. I need a picture of that. Is it me or did Stephen look like a mermaid in that? Somebody please get a screen cap and post it here. I might put that on my desktop :-)

As soon as he said “I think I’d look good in that”, I thought “Oh no… he’s gonna wear it, isn’t he?” Then when they came back from commercial and it showed only his face, I started laughing uncontrollably.
I was totally digging Feist’s outfit too though!

ZOMG he did it! I wonder if they mended the dress for him to fit in it? I think it has elastic around the waist, but she’s still pretty tiny. I loved when he tugged the tube top up

Yeah, that one probably deserved a bulletin. Sometimes it’s just a question of who’s awake and how busy/tired we are, though. I know I was awake, for instance, but I wanted to get started on the Episode Guide right away so that I could eventually get to bed and wouldn’t sleep through my morning meeting. :)
