Video: John Edwards on ‘The Colbert Report’

I know we’re all eagerly awaiting the full Episode Guide from this exceptional show, but I just *had* to get this segment posted before much more time had passed. John Edwards hit his segment out of the park last night, and I’ve got nothing but love for it. So without further ado, The EdWØRDs:

The Ed Words – Valued Voter: In considering who gets his vote, John Edwards is concerned about more than receiving several jet skis for his family — he’d also like to be a spy.

On another note, did anyone else see this:

My favorite part is “After living with Stephen for this many years, no one knows what ‘wildcard’ means better than I do.”

    Hee, hee.

Not bad of a Word in its own right. The Ed Words landed quite a few good laughs for me. “Universal Haircare” and the “third America that gets rich suing the 2nd one on behalf of the 1st” were notable, fun jabs at Edwards, and he was a good sport. i thought they overworked the jetski thing just a tiny bit, but it was amusing overall.

somebody please get this man a jetski

    This is sort of OT:

I read on InDecision2008.com that Obama is scheduled to appear on TDS Monday, in case anyone hasn’t seen that yet.

God, that was great. The son of a mill worker, ha.

I’d still love to see him actually interviewed by Stephen one day.

  6. Jacob and I just watched last night’s episode – John Edwards was absolutely amazing, and absolute kudos to the writers’ for last night’s word.

Writers, you were outstanding, and Mr. Edwards, you were outstanding for letting the writers do that to you.

I’m in awe. I wish I could frame it and hang it on my wall.

I thought John Edwards was great, too. He did a great job with the EdWORDS, and the writers did a fantastic job writing for him.

Wouldn’t it be awesome if one of the active candidates called on Edwards’ Kawasaki fantasies? Maybe Hillary could cause she needs it more IMO, and it better be two, or it won’t count. Press release at eleven. :)
