I loved the last PA show with all the Candidates. I thought Edwards was especially funny. I liked the 'Distractions' on notice as well.

Following the show, the ColBear Bump for Obama Bear can definitely be seen on the Vermont Teddy Bear Presidential Bear polling.

Trailing Obama Bear as of the 18th, we have Hillary Bear, then McCain Bear.

Obama Bear 36.97%
Clinton Bear 24.46%
McCain Bear 20.04%
Mom Bear 18.53%

Knowing how much Colbear loves bear's... Perhaps we'll see the Stephen ColBEAR Bear at some point???

AHH! LOVED this episode - loved it loved it loved it. Epic. As someone mentioned in a previous thread, it's sure to be mentioned in future Colbert Report documentaries. :) Thirty years from now I can sit in my rocker and knit and say in an old-lady voice, "I saw that show on television the day after it was aired..."

@gaia faye

i'm so jealous! that was an explosive show to have gone to. i'm gonna hold judgment on whether or not that was the greatest episode, but i'm pretty sure that was one of the biggest (next to stephen's presidential announcement).

Yeah, I was a little upset that all the guests except Hillary got to say something substantial.

But damn, I wish Edwards were still in the race.

Maybe if Obama had been there in person it would have been different, but Edwards totally owned it last night!! He definitely got the most applause out of anyone; the audience basically FREAKED when he walked onto the stage, with a standing ovation. And he did so well that we were still clapping once he left the stage, to the point where they brought him back out for another bow. And more clapping! So much clapping! My poor wrists.

I always like Edwards too, and was highly disappointed when he left the race. But last night's show bumped him back up so much in my book, that he's probably higher than he was to begin with.

They should let him back into the race. Maybe there's some loophole? lol.

"As someone who felt that John Edwards was always given the short shrift in media coverage during the early days of the campaign and who was disappointed when he ended his candidacy, it was slightly bittersweet to see him back on the (sort of) political stage last night."

That is EXACTLY how I felt.
