Eric Alterman’s gift to Stephen Colbert

Hat tip to the team at the Huffington Post for getting this out; Eric Alterman, who was Stephen’s first guest on last night’s episode of The Colbert Report, presented Stephen with a gift that we didn’t get to see on the show: an alternate cover of Why We’re Liberals, complete with Stephen’s face in the place of honor.

That is so cool! I knew that I liked Alterman.
I loved it when Stephen and Alterman discussed the actual book cover during the interview. I’m sure Stephen appreciated the fake cover with his own picture out front.

Haha, yeah, it’s a good thing that he didn’t do that or else it would have sorta killed the whole show…

Mr. Alterman is definitely an It-Getter…is it just me, or does it look like Stephen is missing his neck? LOL!
