Superdelegate and Congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson, representing Texas’s 30th Congressional District (the fightin’ 30th!), got WristSTRONGed as she waited patiently for the votes to be counted during the Democratic caucus for Texas Precinct 3204. When told about Stephen Colbert, she seemed to have no idea of who he was or what exactly she was being asked to wear. But her spirits were high as she supported the members of her district, and she posed happily before looking bewildered at her gift.
That’s AWESOME! I’m so sad that Mike’s not in the race anymore, though. *tears*

This Presidential race is certainly one for the ages. The conventions will be great fodder for Jon and Stephen.

@ vigwig,
Seriously. I really hope someone caught the “Starbucks crowd versus the Dunkin’ Donuts crowd” line I heard mentioned last night on MSNBC during the primary coverage. My husband and I both said, “That better be on The Daily Show or Colbert tomorrow!” And, no, I am not making this up. Someone actually said those words! I was in hysterics.

@ Lisa,
I hope the writers read your post. That could make an epic coffee feud!

I missed that whole discussion. Now I’m intrigued…

@Lisa. I heard that. It was Chris Matthews, apparently Hillary is Dunkin Donuts and Barack is Starbucks, i.e., uneducated v educated. As a citizen of Ohio, I was a bit angered by the media’s portrayal of us last night as uneducated, easily frightened racists.
