Ok, seriously, for an hour now I’ve been searching and searching for some Stephen news. Nothing. Blech. But a bunch of his old buddies are doing lots of fun and exciting things so we’ll talk about those for a while.
Greg Hollimon (Principal Onyx Blackman, Strangers With Candy) will be performing at the “Big Show” in the iO theater in Chicago tomorrow at 7p, if you’re in the area. It promises to be a fun romp.
Steve Carell was at WonderCon this weekend promoting his summer movie, Get Smart. OfficeTally shared this with us:
[Carell] was there with his ‘Get Smart’ co-star Anne Hathaway and director Peter Segal. They sat on a panel for 30 minutes and answered questions from audience members. Here are some highlights: “He mentioned ‘That’s what she said,’ as being one of his favorite lines and told everyone to try to work that into a conversation later today.”

Ok, we did find *one* thing online today featuring Stephen Colbert. Here’s a super cool pic of Stephen Colbert, drawn by Todd Lockwood. According to the Dane of War blog: “An artist prepared concept and final art for a World of Warcraft TCG card to be released in an upcoming set featuring Stephen Colbert. Upper Deck said no. Colbert’s lawyers said no. The final art was destined to never see the light of day. As with all things, it got leaked anyway…” Oops. So enjoy some seriously cool Colbert art!

With Stephen Colbert, there’s no where to go BUT dark, really.. And he’s portraying the paladin, one of the holiest Alliance heroes, read: LIGHT side. I would like to think that sword he’s wielding is the opposite of Frostmourne, which turned its wielders into death knights.
I’m so happy something leaked, and it’s Blizz’s loss that they didn’t tie their CCG to Colbert. Nice find!
