I’m not sure how many of you watch The Daily Show or The Colbert Report as well as our show… But tonight, you will DEFINITELY want to see all three. I don’t care if you have to go to a wedding, a funeral, or both. BRING A TV AND WATCH IT. Put a cover on the couch and a diaper on your butt, because things are gonna get crazy! DO NOT MISS THESE SHOWS.
Tonight, History is made.
Tonight, Destiny takes hold.
TONIGHT, THE HUCKABEE FEUD ENDS.
And gotta love networks – they put the ‘Late Night’ video on BEFORE the show!! Teehee!
Here’s the facts as have been presented so far as to the current state of the feud between Stephen Colbert/ Jon Stewart and Conan O’Brien about Who Made Mike Huckabee:
- According to the official site, ‘Late Night with Conan O’Brien’ is taping “at a special early time, 3:45 – 6:00 PM.”.
- According to the rumors flying around on the Colboards, people who have tickets for ‘The Colbert Report’ tonight are being told that the show is filming late.
Coincidence? Maybe. Maybe not. But I’m sure we’ll all hear soon enough. It makes that tip we saw about Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart visiting 30 Rock on Friday just that much more interesting.
Another tidbit to the feud: According to a response over at the Late Night Insider, “And you didn’t hear it from me, but the next roll of the feud dice might have already been rolled…. !” Oh, that wacky Aaron!
We’ll keep you posted. Until then, feel free to wax philisophical about different conspiracies in the comments.

-Friday of this week, WGA-AMPTP reach a settlement, and writers can start back up next week.
-next Monday (or anytime next week) The whole thing resolves itself in a West Side Story style rumble with the writers of all 3 shows.

Huckabee is going to be on Morning Joe tomorrow I think (It’s Super Tuesday and he’s been on that show before and during just about every contest)… and Joe is a fangirl, so maybe the story will get a bit of MSNBC play tomorrow.

A car picked up Stephen Colbert outside his studio tonight and brought him to Conan’s taping, and then Conan showed up at Colbert. I guess they are doing their own strike solidarity thing on tonight’s shows.
All of the late night hosts have been steadfast in their support of not just their own writers but also the hundreds of employees who were affected by the strike. A Conan/Colbert couch swap (man, that sounds dirty) promises some must-see nonsense. We can’t wait.”

Colbert looked extra cool (as if he could get any MORE) when his hair lost a little of its usual form. Conan and Jon’s appearance didn’t change much, but Colbert went into streetfighting mode! Love it! Nice bgm too.
