BigThink.com, the site where ‘great minds come together,’ has posted a series of videos from striking writers on Youtube. These videos have the feel of hanging out in someone’s basement – except it’s someone’s audio/visual conference room and you’re listening to funny, talented writers discuss the strike, the issues behind it, and how it’s affecting them and the rest of the entertainment industry. They throw in some jokes about the current events about which they’ve been unable to write, too.
Here’s the first episode:
The six videos are available at the BigThink.com Youtube page. The writers asked that their show affiliations not be posted, but you might recognize a familiar face in there.
On a related note: BigThink.com founder Peter Hopkins was a guest on The Colbert Report on January 15th.
Yeah! Props to the person we’re all thinking of while watching said video…who shall continue to remain nameless. I have to say, I enjoyed Hopkins’ interview — the website seems to be sort of like YouTube with a defined purpose and opinion. Go get ‘em, writers!

I hadn’t seen this. Thanks for sharing it.
I also wanted to give props to the writer who shall remain nameless.
