SIX DEGREES – Steve Carell honors Steve Martin
ByFor those of the Steve Carell fans who missed this last night, I thought I’d share this video of Steve Carell honoring Steve Martin at the 2007 Kennedy Center Honors. I remember listening to Steve Martin as a child on my vinyl records and watching him on SNL, and I remember watching “The Man with Two Brains” so many times that even to this day I know how to pronounce Dr. Michael Hfuhruhurr and Anne Uumellmahaye. So to see one of my fave “new” actors, Steve Carell, pay tribute to him, it just warmed my heart.
Enjoy!
Also, if you’re in a Steve Carell kind of mood, you might want to check out “The ‘Real Life’ of Actor Steve Carell“, from NPR’s Fresh Air program from October 2007.
Thanks to OfficeTally for the vid, WordsWithGrace for the Fresh Air link

That was wonderful. I can still remember watching Steve Martin on SNL and thinking, this guy is totally nuts.
@Erin: The president is always present at the Kennedy Center Honors. I believe he’s the one who actually gives the awards to the recipients.
