So Time sells how many extra newstand copies this week?
I find particularly amusing the stance of SC’s legs/feet. I’m sure there is a ballet term for it, but I identify it as the most flattering leg position for women to be photographed. ;P
I learned (too late) how incredibly important it is to keep one’s legs and feet together for the average full-frontal shot. That particular standing pose of the SC Xmas tree works to slenderize the leg and minimize hip, while also giving equal and opposite impressions of complete composure in a still, balanced, stance, and of stepping forward toward the camera/viewer, which signifies power~attraction~sexiness. Just the perfect pose.
Barry Blitt is a very talented cartoonist. He reminds me of Roz Chast, without being derivative.
