Paul cracks me up in that second one; I’m not sure exactly what it was, but he definitely had me giggling.

How about when Stephen sticks his tongue out at him? A great find!

Stephen looks just like Egon in the second video. Love it.

YAY-I do appreciate all of the strike info, but it’s nice to have an adulterated dose of Stephen & Paul happiness.
Who’s the guy playing the boss in the second one? He looks really familiar.

I like this one.

The lady who plays the secretary plays it just the way I would–in a way that would ensure constant physical contact with the Colbert.
Plus, Paul’s in it. And he’s cute.

Thank you so much for finding videos we can watch guilt-free! I love how young Stephen looks and how Paul looks hardly different at all.

Has Paul Dinello aged? I don’t think so. He’s adorable!

@Lindsey: I think Paul agrees. He’s on record as saying while Stephen and Amy have ‘lost their looks’, he is still ‘as cute as a puppy.’
That mouth. It’s like a secondary sexual organ. He’d be forced to wear a veil in some Muslim countries. To quote Mr.Noblet: Yum!
And the trademark white socks!

@ dustdevil: it’s Ian Gomez who later was on Drew Carry’s show and is married to the woman who did “My Big Fat Greek Wedding” (another Second City alum)

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH OMGGGGGGGG fdsjfdshjdsfahjdfsjhjdfsajhsj
I was starting to think I’d never see Second City-era Paul in anything. So so amazing and wonderful. I wonder if the guy will post more, he said in a bulletin that he had a production company that worked with second city, so the videos are pretty much straight from the source. I messaged him and hope to hear back.
And Paul really does look exactly the same, doesn’t he? I had a big ole grin over the short pants and white socks in that one video. It’s so adorable to see those certain “things” about people that seem to always have been present.

Oh, these are wonderful! Stephen’s hair is gravity defying. And I concur with the others above me in that Paul appears to have not aged a bit. It’s freakish.

Hey all -
I’m the old Second City Alumni (I ran marketing and production) who dug these out of my garage last week. We shot them all as pilots for John Cleese’s training film company Video Arts but they never saw light of day. The “kids” were all awesome – we new they were destined for greatness. The “Boss” is Ian Gomez – he’s done a bunch of stuff.
I’m digging for more – have some Dan Castellaneta stuff somewhere.
Will put it all up on http://www.youtube.com/gottstogo

Thanks so very much, Greg! While we would have have enjoyed these whenever you had posted them, they’ve been particularly welcome during this strike period, considering that many of us are boycotting the Comedy Central and other studio-affiliated sites. These have been delightful; really, a thousand thank yous for posting them.
