Six Degrees of Stephen Colbert: Upcoming shows, video, appearances, etc.
ByWe all hope that the AMPTP comes to its senses quickly, that the strike ends and the writers get what they want, which would have the added bonus of giving us what we want (the return of our shows!). But how to get through it all until then? For starters, here are a few of the shows and events on the horizon:
- Jon Stewart
- TiVo Alert! Jon will be profiled on Biography on November 7th. Check your TV listings.
- Jon’s performing in Delaware, December 1st, Bob Carpenter Center. Check out the additional info from the University of Delaware.
- Jon is also performing at the Mezz Theater on November 16th, but that one’s by invitation only.
- Amy Sedaris will be appearing in Washington, DC on November 29th for a discussion at Sixth and I.
- Lizz Winstead is performing in NY at Comix on November 16th and 17th.
- Peter Gwinn, Laura Krafft, Peter Grosz and Dan Bakkedahl participate in shows at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in New York
- Let’s Have a Ball, featuring Gwinn and Krafft (and occasionally, Rob Riggle) is on the UCBT lineup on November 17th
- 3 Square, featuring Grosz and Bakkedahl, is scheduled for November 26th
- Don’t forget that recurring shows at Rififi (“Invite Them Up”, Wednesdays) and Pianos (“It is It!”, some Mondays) have also been known to feature Daily Show and Colbert Report writers/performers.
- And okay, I’m a little late with this one, but a zombie Ed Helms is featured singing a country song in this clip posted by our friends at the Comedy Central Insider:
