I WENT – it was awesome! ALL of the writers of the book were there (I suppose they had nothing better to do ;-). I’ve been to other book signings, and they usually limited the time, but they kept the signing going even after the store closed (10 PM) til every single member of the Colbert Nation who was there got their book signed! All of the writers were dressed in their “street clothes” except for Stephen, who was in full suit and tie. I made a brief comment to him but from HIS brief comment I couldn’t tell whether or not he was in character. Hmmm.
I suppose he sticks to NYC cause his schedule doesn’t allow him to travel all over the country. It’s too bad.

I was at the signing as well – he complimented the pendant I was, and am, wearing, the writers lit up when they saw me, since I had been on the line earlier, and we held a brief discussion about the shirt I was wearing:
The Actors Temple
and, Paul Dinello is… wow….
I will admit, I had the Chcukc Jones Bugs Bunny Assembly Line theme running through my head as they all signed.. that and how “Last Supper-ish” it looked….
