Hold onto your hats, South Carolina, our reliable source has just given us the scoop: Stephen Colbert will be participating in a “Rock the Vote” event at the College of Charleston this Saturday, October 27th, at 3:00 pm! From our South Carolinian tipster:

Stephen Colbert of “The Colbert Report” will be on the College of Charleston campus this Saturday, October 27, at 3 pm, on the Cistern Yard. He will be participating in MTV’s “Rock the Vote,” a non-partisan, one hour interactive presentation designed to encourage voter registration and educated voting.

Whoo hoo! Can’t wait to see how the people of Charleston welcome their “favorite son” . . .
