Stephen Colbert on ‘Late Night with Dave Letterman’ last night
ByDid you miss Stephen’s appearance on Letterman last night? I’m sure that if you did, it was only because you were so eager to get back to your copy of I Am America (And So Can You!) after The Colbert Report ended that you forgot to flip the channel in time to catch Stephen chatting with Dave. Thankfully, our fabulous friend Caitlin has your back; here’s the video of the appearance that she so helpfully provided. (And if you haven’t yet done so — or if you haven’t done so recently — you really need to check out her awesome site, www.pauldinello.net.)
As Stephen’s media onslaught continues, we here at NFZ continue to be grateful that our superstantial readers are willing to share their tips, links and video clips. Seriously, we couldn’t keep up with it all if it weren’t for you. Thanks so much, everyone!

May I gush a moment? Stephen told that same story about his son asking him if he was old, at my first taping! Which was indeed about a year ago (11/13/06): “Stephen came running out and high-fived the front rows twice. Then he faked being winded and told us about how his eight-year-old son had asked him recently, ‘Daddy, are you old?’ and he’d said, ‘No, I’m young and vital!’”

I’m so grateful, Caitlin, that you snagged this for us! Stephen’s remarks about his posh ‘dude ranch’ vacation made me think of the project of Paul’s you describe on your website (Pioneer Town), said to be set for filming ‘in September.’ I’d love to see that movie! But how could either Paul of Stephen (or Amy) possibly have time to be working on that now? Any news?

Thanks fun.
Are there plans for many more talk shows and Oprah anytime soon?
Everyone of those appearances are cool.

Aww…great interview
He missed the chance of giving Letterman a WristStrong bracelet, though. (Unless he did it afterwards)

nousblet– I’ve wondered the same thing myself about Pioneer Town. When I did the interview with Paul he made it seem like it was pretty much set to go on production since he said there was funding for it. But like many things in show biz, I’m assuming it has been delayed for some reason but I really have no idea about its status right now. If I hear any more news I’ll be sure to let everyone know :)
