This is really fun! I love it when Stephen’s charm reduces serious (?)newswomen to giggling like schoolgirls. It sounds like Diane really digs the book–and therefore has a sense of humor (unlike Janet Maslin, evidently. It’s satire, b***h!)
It also looked like Stephen was loaded for bear, WristStrong-wise.
It always makes me laugh when Stephen assures us of his rightness by pursuing his lips and sort of twisting them to the side, saying ‘Mmm,mmm.’ (‘I’m pregnant with freedom.’) It struck me for the first time watching this that he may have consciously or unconsciously adapted the lip pursing shtick from Dana Carvey (church lady).
